Strengthen the Grid for Longevity and Resilience

This paper presents the feasibility of using BullWrap™ to restore the structural integrity of aged utility poles and increase their resiliency. The effectiveness of BullWrap™ was evaluated through structural strengthening testing, fire testing, and field demonstrations by utility partners in US and Europe. Results show that BullWrap™ not only restores the structural integrity of both wood and concrete utility poles but also increases load-bearing capacity, enhancing robustness and resiliency against extreme weather conditions such as high winds. Fire testing performance met "excellent" criteria, and field evaluations by utility partners demonstrated its effectiveness.
