Contribution to the Development of a Multifunctional Planar Filter Based on SMV-1405 Diodes for 5G Mobile Applications
This paper presents an innovative structure of a multifunctional filter mounted on a 0.8 mm thick Roger 4003C substrate. The developed filter can flexibly adjust its bandwidth, ranging from narrowband to wideband and vice versa. Additionally, the optimal arrangement of the SMV1405 diodes allows the filter to switch from a single-band configuration to a dual-band configuration while maintaining a narrow bandwidth. The results obtained are promising, with a return loss S<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">11</inf> of 33 dB and an insertion loss S<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">21</inf> of 0.94 dB in narrowband mode. In dual-band mode, it produces two narrow bands with return losses greater than 15 dB and insertion losses less than 1.74 dB.
