EFFECT OF WATER INJECTION AT SHORT DISTANCES IN CARBONATE DEPOSITS
In global oil production, there is a steady trend to increase in the share of oil extracted from carbonate reservoirs. This trend is confirmed by the example of Arlanskoe oil field. At the present stage, the continuous optimization of the development system of the base terrigenous object, as well as the creation of a rational system for the development of the second largest reserves of the Kashiro-Podolsk object, led to a stable increase in current oil production. At the Arlanskoe oil field the waterflooding system is mainly implemented using directional wells. The low efficiency of waterflooding in the carbonate formation is due to the complex geological structure and lithological features of the carbonate reservoirs. The Kashiro-Podolsk deposits are characterized by extremely low effective permeability, low oil-saturated thicknesses of the formations, as well as significant heterogeneity both in the reservoir area and in the section. This article examines the effectiveness of organizing a system, taking into account the mutual location of injection and production wells and the minimum distance between them.
