Strategic Integration of Technology-Enhanced Learning for Sustainable Education
The integration of Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL) in higher education has become vital in strategic planning, particularly in response to the rapid digital transformation and socio-economic shifts influencing education. This study examines the application of strategic planning tools, including SWOT analysis, PEST analysis, and benchmarking, to enhance TEL adoption across diverse socio-economic contexts. Employing a mixed-methods approach with surveys and in-depth interviews, the research explores the roles of institutional leadership, cultural resistance, and stakeholder engagement in the successful implementation and sustainability of TEL. The findings reveal that while these strategic tools are commonly used, their effectiveness varies based on institutional resources, geography, and socio-economic factors. The study also underscores the necessity of fostering an inclusive institutional culture and addressing digital equity for TEL’s long-term success. This research contributes to the development of a comprehensive framework for integrating TEL into strategic planning, providing practical insights for institutions navigating the complexities of modern education in a global digital context.
