Model of electronic archive of theses and dissertations

The relevance of this paper lies in the ever-growing need to improve methods for operating theses and dissertations archives in Ukraine. The quality of service provided by traditional archives is no longer sufficient for the effective processing of educational and scientific materials. The purpose of this study is to develop an efficient model of an electronic archive of theses and dissertations, which can later be used as a starting point for the implementation of such an archive in Ukrainian universities and other scientific institutions. This model illustrates all major components and operations of an electronic archive of theses and dissertations, taking into consideration user roles within the system (such as depositors, moderators, and administrators) and their functions in maintaining the archive. In conclusion, the findings suggest a model of an electronic archive that, in addition to basic functions, integrates the digitization of older works and creates preconditions for the efficient analysis of academic genealogy.
