Improved and analysis of the maximum power point based on PSO, PO and INC algorithms in photovoltaic systems

In this paper, three techniques for tracking the maximum power point (MPPT) of a photovoltaic generator (GPV) using Matlab Simulink were presented, an extensive comparative study of three techniques for maximising power, namely P&O, IC and PSO in photovoltaic systems. The objective of the study is to evaluate and compare the performance of these techniques in terms of power extraction efficiency, response time and tracking accuracy. It presents a prescribed photovoltaic system and simulates the performance of different MPPT algorithms,, including Incremental Conductance (INC), Perturb & Observe (P&O) and Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO). The simulation evaluates the effectiveness of each technique in tracking the maximum power point (MPP) of the PV module under varying environmental conditions. The results provide valuable insights into the design and selection of an appropriate MPPT algorithm for specific PV systems.
