This article discusses the issues of spiritual security, some factors in the development of modern education in Russia, their relationship with the spiritual security of Russian society.Education, being the most important institution for the translation of cultural values, norms, and ideals of society, is primarily in the plane of spiritual security.In order to overcome the spiritual and destructive tendencies of the country's development, the education system in Russia should become a strategic pivot in preserving and reproducing the culture of Russian society and the national identity of society.
