Experiencias de los participantes en el foro del Seminario Curriculum Latinoamericano, 2024
This research utilized a mixed methodology of a descriptive-qualitative nature, based on a digital ethnography approach, to analyze the content on a social network. The main objective was to explore the interaction of participants in the forum and analyze the impact of relevant contributions on learning during the Latin American Curriculum Seminar 2024-2, COVID-19 Decade, “Curriculum debates in the decade: Challenges and new directions in perspective.” The temporal scope was limited to the 2024-2 semester. The forum’s population consisted of 44 participants who have experience in the field of curriculum, including graduate students, professors, and researchers. Additionally, they came from various countries, such as Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Guatemala and Mexico. Data collection included performance metrics of participants during the forum (visits, likes, interactions, clicks and comments). The interactions of the participants were analyzed using a mixed approach, encompassing comments, questions and responses, and revealing information about interaction and work time through statistical indicators. The data analysis process was carried out in three stages: descriptive analysis using Facebook analysis tools, emergent coding, and categorization using Atlas.ti 9 software. The results will reflect the categories that emerge: New relationship with knowledge, New teaching environments, and Digital divide. These categories allow us to conclude the complexity and richness of the meaningful interactions of the participants in the Facebook forum.
