Tyrosine kinase ABL1 as a promising molecular target for anticancer drugs 17
Tyrosine kinase ABL1 plays an important role in many key cellular processes linked to growth, proliferation, differentiation, survival, apoptosis, cell motility, adhesion, etc. However, this protein kinase is also associated with the development of several oncological diseases. In this review we summarize the literature data on the ABL1 structure, function, the role in cancer and known inhibitors of the kinase.K e y w o r d s: protein kinase ABL1, cancer, inhibitor.
