Dynamic synergy of digital and “green” economies as a passway to sustainable development

A study is being conducted on the dynamic synergy between the digital and the “green” economy in the context of the integration of digital technologies with environmentally sustainable practices, which can serve as a strategic way to achieve sustainable development. The relationship between digital transformation and the green economy is analyzed to determine how their joint potential can accelerate progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The ecological and economic approach to digital-real integration in the context of sustainable development is substantiated. The concepts of “dynamic synergy between digital and “green” economies” and “digital-real integration” are introduced. It has been established that two transformative forces – digitalization and the “green” economy – have become the most important elements in this process. Individually, they offer significant advantages, but their integration represents a synergistic effect that can accelerate progress towards sustainable development. The conclusion is substantiated that the interconnection and interdependence of the “green” and digital economies contributes to the achievement of sustainable development goals in the short term. It is shown that digital-real integration is a problem-solving strategy and a way to achieve sustainable development goals based on technological results to increase environmental sustainability and economic growth. This integration can transform industries, increase resource efficiency, and create a more sustainable economy. The conclusions drawn can serve as a basis and guideline for more effective promotion of the integration of digital and real technologies and the implementation of long-term sustainable development of the region.
