Analysis of inter-company interaction of enterprises at the mesoeconomical level in the context of digitalization

The interaction of enterprises in modern conditions is becoming more common. This problem is of particular relevance in the field of industrial production. It is becoming almost impossible to work separately, not only for large but also for small enterprises. The development of information and digital technologies allows companies to interact regardless of their geographical location. At the same time, digitalization contributes to the formation of more flexible business processes, allows you to collect and process large amounts of data, optimizes the process of making and executing management decisions, increases the level of intellectualization and the quality of products, etc. The assessment of inter-company interaction at the regional level allows us to determine the place among other subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as to track the dynamics of changes and its direction during the calculation period. To do this, it is necessary to determine a set of indicators that most fully reflect the level of interaction between enterprises in the region. There were selected 12 indicators, which were eventually combined into a common composite index. Calculations are made based on available annual statistical data, and their results allow us to determine the level of inter-company interaction between enterprises in the region (very high, high, medium, low and very low). On the example of the regions of the Central Federal District, methods for assessing the level of inter-company interaction in the digital economy were tested. It was revealed that most regions of the Central Federal District have a high level of inter-company interaction. The development of digital technologies contributes to improving the speed and quality of interaction between economic entities at the regional level. The significance of the research results for the regional economy lies in the fact that the analysis of the existing level of inter-firm interaction allows you to make and adjust management decisions in order to improve the policies of both enterprises themselves and the authorities of the region. The higher the level of inter-company interaction of enterprises, the higher the indicators of the region's economy.
