Estabelecimento de vínculos nas organizações
Presenting a methodology that measures organization ties is the purpose of this paper. When the ties are established with the organization, the organizational commitment arises, which is responsible for the permanence of people in organizations. Studies on these ties provide an understanding of the reasons that lead workers to contribute to the organization’s results, because such a link between the individual and the organization enables the building of stronger relationships based on commitment. The research was characterized as empirical-analytical and occurred under two lines of inquiry. One is based on relevant theory, with a quantitative approach, and the other one is based on the practice of the respondents, with a qualitative approach. From the compilation of three conceptual approaches - Meyer, Allen and Smith’s organizational commitment; Kramer and Faria’s constituent elements of the ties with the organization; and, Zimerman’s types of links - an instrument of broader scope was developed and implemented at the Brazilian Air Force. The knowledge of how the link is established with the organization allows a better understanding of the psychodynamics of organizations, as well as a revision of strategic human resources policies, which helps to justify this work. The results achieved the intended objectives and a methodology to measure ties configuration in organizations was developed.
