Practical Application of BIM Technology in Construction Project Management from the Perspective of Intelligent Construction

With the gradual establishment of the high-quality development system framework of the construction industry, the construction industry is in a critical period of transformation and upgrading, facing many challenges such as technological innovation, talent structure optimization and management model reform. Among them, as a key link to ensure the overall construction quality and economic benefits, the traditional management methods adopted by the construction project have obviously lagged behind the actual needs of the current project, resulting in problems such as low management efficiency, insufficient control ability and weak risk mechanism. In this regard, based on the theory and system of intelligent construction, this study will deeply explore the application mode of BIM technology in construction project management practice, and complete the verification of the application effect with actual cases. Practice has proved that BIM technology has outstanding advantages in information integration, visual design, construction simulation and optimization, collaborative management and intelligent operation and maintenance, which effectively makes up for many shortcomings of traditional management methods, opens up a new path for the high-quality development of the construction industry, and has a far-reaching and extensive role in promoting the future development of intelligent construction.
