ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF INTERPHASE CATALYSIS IN THE SYNTHESIS OF POTASSIUM BUTYL XANTHOGENATE

The influence of the nature of the phase-transfer catalyst on the synthesis of potassium butyl xanthate during the xanthogenation of butanol in a two-phase aqueous-organic medium was studied. A phase-transfer catalyst was selected, with the use of which the process proceeds with a higher yield of the target product.
