Study on the change of cultivated land resources and driving forces in Huizhou City based on urbanization
Based on the statistical data of cultivated land resources and socio-economic development in Huizhou City from 2000 to 2020, this study analytically examines the characteristics of cultivated land resource changes during the urbanization process. By integrating the specific situation of cultivated land resource changes in Huizhou City, ten indicators reflecting the status of urbanization were selected. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis were applied to explore the driving forces behind the changes in the quantity of cultivated land resources. Finally, based on the results of the driving force analysis, corresponding strategic suggestions are proposed to provide practical references for the protection and utilization of cultivated land resources, the iteration of urbanization construction methods, and the exploration of transformation development paths in Huizhou City.
