Characteristic analysis of freezing temperature field in the connected aisle of the metro tunnel

The distribution characteristics of the temperature field in the frozen wall are the basis for judging the quality of the frozen wall and the key to determining the excavation time of the connected aisle rationally. Based on the freezing engineering of the connected aisle in the Guangzhou metro tunnel, this paper introduces the monitoring process of freezing using the layout of thermometer holes and pressure relief holes. It analyzes the changes in frost heave pressure and temperature of the frozen soil during the process, and proposes a method to evaluate the quality of the frozen wall formation. Based on the measured data obtained during the construction process, the evolution of the temperature field of the frozen curtain was studied using ANSYS finite element software. Additionally, the quality of the frozen soil curtain formed at different sections was analyzed. The reliability of the numerical simulation analysis method is verified by comparing the measured data of the freezing temperature field with the results obtained from finite element numerical analysis during the construction of the freezing method for the contact channel. The research findings can serve as a reference for the construction of the freezing method for connected aisles in the Guangzhou metro tunnel.
