GEORREFERENCIAMENTO E MORBIDADES COBERTAS PELA ATENÇÃO DOMICILIAR NO TERRITÓRIO MAIS POPULOSO DO DISTRITO FEDERAL

In urban peripheries, home visits have an influence on the recognition of quality and recommendation of services, impacting the success of healthcare services – notably in home care. Objective: To assess the prevalence of diseases managed under the Home Care Program (HCP) and the success of scheduling visits that could identify communication barriers among active registrants in the care program. Method: A georeferenced observational study, of a cross-sectional and descriptive type, among registrants in the Home Care Program HCP. Results: The visits revealed a high prevalence of comorbidities associated with circulatory and nervous system diseases, primarily concentrated in central urban areas. The success rate for scheduling visits was significantly lower in the most rural administrative region (39%). Overall, we found a visit scheduling failure rate of 48% among active registrations contacted by phone. Conclusion: A higher chance of success in scheduling visits was georeferenced in less peripheral areas, where we encountered users with chronic comorbidities. Failures were mainly associated with registration errors.
