Contextualizing Redacted City Name
This excerpt from the case context section of an autoethnographic, critical action research project about a contemporary art exhibition in redacted city and state name details relevant Indigenous, settler-colonial, and cultural histories, defining the “place” in which the case study is located. By contextualizing the research within both settler-colonial relations and local exhibitionary history, this investigation aims to generate and sustain connections with ongoing community conversations about the legacies of colonialism and Indigenous futures.
