Influence of precipitation on the second bean crop productivity in Cascavel-PR
The cultivation of beans is vital in Brazilian agriculture, being one of the main crops in the country. Its production is crucial for both domestic consumption and export, significantly contributing to the economy. Beans have various economic applications, including the food industry and animal feed. The success of cultivation depends on climatic factors, with efficient water management being essential for good harvests. Technological innovation has optimized production through advanced cultivation techniques, genetic improvement, and the use of modern machinery. Precipitation directly influences productivity, with the distribution of rainfall during the plant's development being crucial for yield. Climatic phenomena such as El Niño and La Niña significantly affect production, causing variations in harvest levels. To address climatic challenges, mitigation strategies are implemented, such as sustainable agricultural practices and the development of more resilient bean varieties. These measures aim to ensure stable and sustainable bean production, securing food security and the economic well-being of Brazilian farmers.
