On the Estimation of Measurement Errors in Noise Studies of a Centrifugal Fan
Abstract The main objective of the present work is to describe an experimental setup to study the noise characteristics during centrifugal fan operation and the error of the measured quantities used to estimate the noise at different operating modes. The apparatus makes it possible to study the performance of the fan with impellers of different blade geometries. Determination of the error of the measured quantities is necessary in order to be able to take it into account later in the analysis of different experimental data.
