Chimie Douce Derived Novel P2‐Type Layered Oxide for Potassium‐Ion Batteries (Adv. Funct. Mater. 41/2024)
Chimie Douce The image illustrates chimie douce as a route to produce K-ion battery cathodes from layered Na-ion cathodes. The chimie douce (or soft chemistry) route acts as a net to screen K-ions in place of Na-ions in layered oxides. In article number 2410665, Prabeer Barpanda and co-workers show that the resulting K-ion cathodes work as efficient cathodes for secondary potassium-ion batteries suitable for stationary energy storage.
