Remote‐Controllable Lateral Electropolymerization of Conducting Polymers via Dual‐Electrode ADC‐Bipolar Electrochemistry (Adv. Funct. Mater. 41/2024)
ADC-Bipolar Electropolymerization In article number 2406229, Boseok Kang and co-workers suggest a new one-step electrochemical synthetic method for the lateral growth of large-sized conducting polymer films on arbitrary insulating substrates. Applying a combination of direct-current voltage and alternating-current voltage at dual bipolar electrodes enables the uniform and fast growth of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) films on 2-inch substrates. Its feasibility as a soft neural thermocouple is also demonstrated.
