Do biopsychosocial factors predict the level of physical activity in individuals with persistent shoulder pain?
While individuals with RCRSP did not show lower physical activity levels compared to their healthy counterparts, greater physical activity was associated with younger age, lower depressive symptoms, and higher resilience in individuals with RCRSP. Future research should explore whether resilience and physical activity interventions can prevent the transition to persistent RCRSP.
