Successful Treatment of Severe Tuberculosis With Contezolid Add‐On Regimen in a Patient Complicated With Acute Thrombocytopenia: A Case Report

Polypharmacy in managing severe tuberculosis patients usually poses a risk of adverse drug reactions. Contezolid is a new oxazolidinone antibiotic showing good in vitro and in vivo activity against <i>Mycobacterium tuberculosis</i>. Contezolid add-on regimen shows promising efficacy and safety results in managing severe tuberculosis patients complicated with acute thrombocytopenia.
