Performance Analysis of Food Delivery Service using UML and SPN

This paper focuses on the analysis of the customer's order frequency inferences and delivery time prediction of food delivery systems. Food delivery has surged in popularity due to its convenience, variety, ease of ordering, and time-saving benefit. However, in the food delivery systems delivery time is very important and should be calculated precisely to refrain from unbearable time delay. When a customer places a food order, the system will simultaneously locate a nearby available delivery person and notify them to pick up the order promptly, while also informing the restaurant of the impending order. So, there will be less delay between the restaurant food preparation process and the order picked up by the delivery person. Using our system model, we can predict the time required between the restaurant food preparation process and the food pickup by the delivery person. Above all, we analyze the available orders, response time, and throughput to give a better understanding of the time management for the customer, restaurant, and delivery person.
