Position- and Posture-Estimation Method in Bathroom Using Spatial Ultrasound
Drowning and falling inside a bathroom are recognized as high-risk accidents which can lead to fatalities. Enhancing safety in these areas has proven difficult since the orthodox method cannot be implemented. In this study, we proposed an ultrasound array sensor-based surveillance system. With the help of a machine learning framework, we estimate the position and posture of the subjects inside a bathroom environment. Evaluation shows, an over 90% Recall rate across different postures.
