Increasing Electrical Energy Efficiency by Optimizing Electrical Load Schedules in the Electrical Supply Systems of Industrial Sites

The technical and economic efficiency in the operation of the power supply systems of industrial sites is largely determined by the dynamics of electricity consumption. The equalization of the load schedules (LS) can be achieved by shifting in time the working electric consumers (EC), which can be realized by applying priority step methods - general case and correlation resonant. The proposed methodology has been tested for a large industrial site, powered by three 40 MVA power transformers. A concept of shifting load schedules is synthesized, creating an optimized group load schedule (GLS) with minimal irregularity. The dispersion component of the power is substantially reduced, with the estimated reduction of active power losses being about three times compared to the initial version.
