Optimizing the Operation of a Photovoltaic System Through Fuzzy Logic

A photovoltaic system built in Varna region was examined. In order to control the output power of the plant, it is necessary to manage the changing value of the current <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$-i_{pv}$</tex>. The paper proposes to do this through a controller using fuzzy logic. Its task is to find the points of maximum and limited power. The restructuring of the photovoltaic generators from uncontrollable to controllable will lead to a constant value of the output power in the power transmission network. The studied system is modeled in Matlab Simulink environment.
