FORMATION OF CORROSION-RESISTANT CLADDING LAYERS ON PETROCHEMICAL EQUIPMENT PARTS BY TWO-ELECTRODE SURFACING METHOD
The study results of the elemental composition and structure of corrosion-resistant austenitic metal deposited by the one- and two-electrode method in a protective gas are discussed. Recommendations on the formation of a defect-free cladding layer by surfacing with two electrode wires are given. It is shown that comparable results in resistance to intercrystalline corrosion are achieved with a lower consumption (~by 30-35%) of the electrode metal for the formation of a cladding layer and a more technologically advanced form of rollers deposited with two wires.
