Experimental Studies on Power and Frequency Dependences of Nonlinear Products in Temperature Compensated SAW Devices

Finteis and Ruile reported anomalous input power dependence for the third-order intermodulation (IMD3) in temperature compensated (TC) surface acoustic wave devices. This paper reports measurements of not only IMD3 products but also second and third-order harmonics (H2 and H3) generated in a TC SAW duplexer in various driving conditions. It is shown that the power dependence varies with setting of the driving frequencies, and IMD3 can be characterized well by the ratio between two signals.

Abstract

This paper reports measurements of not only IMD3 products but also second and third-order harmonics (H2 and H3) generated in a TC SAW duplexer in various driving conditions. It is shown that the power dependence varies with setting of the driving frequencies, and IMD3 can be characterized well by the ratio between two signals.
