A novel & OEM Handheld Ultrasound Platform: from Research Innovation to Extended Portable Application Development
We present a novel OEM ultrasound platform comprising a handheld ultrasound device and its software environment we developed to provide to ultrasound systems engineers and innovators an easy-to-use solution in fast developing a wide range of solutions for their research and product innovation, especially in applications where compactness is essential. After introducing the platform and the main features of its user interface, a glimpse of its performances and capabilities is given through some imaging results first, and then, through two R&D applications use case to emphasize the potential of the platform for R&D applications as well as product prototyping.
