Enhancement of Barium Titanate based Ultraviolet Photodetector by Incorporating Reduced Graphene Oxide of Superior Optical Properties
In imaging, optical communications, and the Internet of Things, ultraviolet (UV) photodetectors (PD) are widely used. Ferroelectric thin films have a broad bandgap and distinctive photovoltaic properties, making them a viable contender in UV detection. Ferroelectric polarization increases the efficiency by producing the interfacial charge coupling at the junction, which causes significant interest in ferroelectric/semiconductor heterostructures for upcoming optoelectronic and electrical devices. This study aims to create a UV photodetector that blends ferroelectric materials with reduced graphene oxide (rGO) to increase ultraviolet light detection. Ferroelectric materials are recognized for their ability to generate internal electric fields that improve charge separation, which is required for successful photodetection. By using rGO, recognized for its outstanding electrical conductivity and huge surface area, we hope to increase the photodetection capabilities further. It is observed that the photocurrent of the devices.
