Investigation of AC Poling for PZT/PZT Sol-Gel Composite
Conventionally, corona discharge poling has been used to polarize porous sol-gel composites, but there are problems with the uniformity of the polarization. In this study, we performed AC poling of sol-gel composites and compared the results with corona discharge poling. As a result, the d<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">33</inf> and ultrasonic sensitivity of the sample that used AC poling were comparable to those of the samples that used corona discharge poling, and the variation in these values was small. In addition, the result of the high-temperature test showed that the devices could operate without any problems when heated to around 200°C
