Simulation Study on Decoding with Correlation and Convolution for Hadamard and Golay-Coded Ultrasound Array Transmission
To decrease computational expense and enable real-time encoded beamforming, we have been proposing new decoding methods with less processing, i.e., (i) correlation and (ii) filtering, with the transmitted, encoded wave itself, or the code itself. In this report, we confirm the method feasibilities and compared the representative Hadamard and Golay codes through simulations. Steering wave and multiply superposed waves are also dealt with.
