Design and Implementation of the Grouting Process Measurement Device with a Datalogger

Recording data from processes and activities has become essential for quality assurance and process verification, playing a pivotal role in research objectives. This necessity extends to the construction sector, where modern grouting waterproofing techniques are employed in tunnel wall renovations to protect structures from capillary water ingress, crucial for their longevity. Maintaining detailed grouting records is often required in practice, as these records provide insights into the substrate condition and grouting quality. This paper aims to design and implement a device that records physical data from the grouting process and stores it in a defined format on a microSD card. The paper outlines the problem analysis, identifies key input variables, and selects appropriate hardware components. The versatility of the proposed device allows for real-time monitoring of the grouting process and can be adapted to record the consumption of other substances, such as one or two-component paints. The proposal is structured into three main sections: an analytical part that addresses the problem analysis, a hardware part that discusses the selection of a suitable single-board computer and additional hardware, and a software section that explains the choice of programming language and the program's flow.
