Transformer-Based Decision Making for Main-Standby Pump Switching in Lubrication Pump Stations

With the continuous advancement of industrial automation, lubrication pump stations play a crucial role in ensuring the normal operation of equipment. This paper presents a decision support system based on the Transformer model for main-standby pump switching in lubrication pump stations. The system continuously monitors temperature, pressure, and flow data, employing the Transformer algorithm for predictive analysis. When the predicted flow or pressure significantly deviates from the actual values, the system automatically triggers an alarm and executes a pump switch, thereby effectively reducing equipment failure risks and enhancing operational efficiency. Experimental results demonstrate that this method outperforms traditional models in terms of accuracy and response speed, showcasing a promising application potential.
