The Problem of Definition of Legal Representative Powers if Criminal Proceedings
The author provides a theoretical justification for his understanding of the nature of the powers of a representative lawyer in criminal proceedings. It is argued that the powers of a representative lawyer should be considered as a combination of the rights of the represented person (with the exception of the right to testify) and the general rights and obligations of a lawyer under the Law on Advocacy and the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation.
