Building a University Digital Twin
The project focused on creating a Digital Twin of the Edith O’Donnell Arts and Technology Building (ATC) at the University of Texas at Dallas and integrating it into a metaverse platform. This immersive environment enabled users to interact and explore the space in innovative ways. Using advanced 3D modeling and real-time data integration, the team built an accurate virtual model of the ATC. The Digital Twin allowed users to navigate the building, attend virtual events, and engage with digital exhibits. It also provided virtual classrooms and collaborative spaces, and served as a showcase for artistic and technological projects. This project created a dynamic virtual environment, enhancing educational and creative experiences, and positioning the University at the forefront of technological innovation.
