Development of a Web-Based Intervention Application for High School Teachers' Intervention Efforts
This study aimed to develop a platform through a web-based application that teachers of a state-owned secondary educational institution can use to prepare intervention assessments and deploy them to designated students identified to undergo intervention activities. Considered features include teacher-to-student consultation through a messaging feature and a dashboard for teachers to use to see intervention efforts results. The scrum framework was used the developers' guide in meeting the system's requirements. Usability and user acceptance tests were conducted and based on the gathered and interpreted results, teachers were able to manage intervention assessments collaboratively with other teachers in the institution, conduct consultations with students through a messaging facility, and view pertinent intervention results. The developers had concluded that all the objectives set in the study had been met.
