RF Front-end LoRa Transceiver with Antenna for Comparison with Gyro and Vehicle Communication
The proposed RF Front-end transceiver consists CMOS low noise amplifier (LNA) with automatic gain control (AGC), balun, power amplifier (PA), T/R switch, and bandpass filter for single-mixer transceiver. The proposed CMOS LNA adopts variable resistance attenuator between the two stages to achieve at gain adjustment. The proposed CMOS PA using diode linearizer to increase the power output of the power amplifier is presented. The proposed linearization circuit improved output P<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">1dB</inf> exceeds 3dB. The measured insertion loss is less than 1.8 dB, the isolation of 17dB, and the input P<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">1dB</inf> exceeds 18.6 dBm, respectively. This article presents integrated experimental with antenna for LoRa applications.
