More Effective Shaping in a Construction 3D Printer

Experience in the design and testing of shaping devices for a laboratory construction 3D printer is analyzed. Approaches to increasing the efficiency and stability of mixture supply to the extruder, without loss of shape stability, are evaluated. The final design includes an active feed hopper and a vibrational screw feeder.

Abstract

Experience in the design and testing of shaping devices for a laboratory construction 3D printer is analyzed. Approaches to increasing the efficiency and stability of mixture supply to the extruder, without loss of shape stability, are evaluated. The final design includes an active feed hopper and a vibrational screw feeder.
