SUR L’IMPORTANCE DE CRÉER LES CONDITIONS D’UN CONTACT OFFICIEL ET SYSTÉMATIQUE ENTRE LES ÉTUDIANTS INSCRITS AUX PROGRAMMES DE « LANGUES MODERNES APPLIQUÉES » ET « ANNÉE PRÉPARATOIRE DE LANGUE ROUMAINE »

The present article is a plea for the creation of contexts of direct interaction between students belonging to two foreign language programs conducted in parallel, in the Bucharest University of Economic Studies: the Romanian Language Preparatory Year for Foreign Students (Anul Pregătitor de Limba Română, i.e. APLR) and the Applied Modern Languages program (Limbi Moderne Aplicate, i.e. LMA). My goal is to argue in favor of the need to add to the usual activities of explaining and practicing foreign languages, to the grammar and communication classes, practical activities, typical for what in specialized language is called “la perspective actionnelle”, which gives students the opportunity for a natural, spontaneous communication. Once this type of communication is started, through a common institutional project, it will certainly continue, to the obvious benefit of both categories of students: foreigners and Romanians.
