Relevant Problems of Jurisdictional Immunities of a Foreign State in the Russian Federation

The article discusses some controversial issues of the operation of jurisdictional immunities of a foreign state on the territory of the Russian Federation. Attention is drawn to the fact that over time the general approach to understanding the essence of state immunity has changed, which is mainly related to the needs of modern international economic life. Based on the analysis of doctrinal provisions and materials of law enforcement practice, the paper proposes the most optimal conceptual approach that allows balancing the interests of states in court and achieving the enforceability of court decisions made against them.
