Professional ethics. Conventionality or vital necessity?
Quality control of medical activities is based on the study of statistics of negative experience, including the experience of other countries, analysis of errors, and work to prevent their repetition. Purpose. Identification of the causes of errors in the actions of medical workers, based on violations of professional ethics. Results. Information on problems in the provision of medical care was analyzed, an analysis of the procedure for considering citizens’ appeals was carried out, and shortcomings in the formalized approach to considering complaints were identified. Conclusion. Heads of medical organizations should pay attention to citizens’ appeals as the most serious signals of a possible violation of the provision of medical care to the population.
