IMPACT OF LEARNING INTERESTS, PARENTAL SUPPORT, AND SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT ON PKN LEARNING RESULTS

This study aims to determine the effects of 1) learning interest, 2) parental support, 3) school environment,4) learning interest, parental support, and school environment, simultaneously, on Civic Education learning outcomes. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey technique. A sample of 560 students was selected using Slovin's formula from a population of 1,110 tenth-grade students at vocational high schools in Lahat District, South Sumatra. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, and analyzed using multiple regression tests. Results indicate positive and significant effects of : 1) learning interest on Civic Education learning outcomes, as evidenced by ttest = 4.309 with sig. = 0.000 2) parental support on Civic Education learning outcomes, as proved by ttest = 4.755 with sig. = 0.000; suggesting that better parental support correlates with higher Civic Education learning outcomes; 3) school environment on Civic Education learning outcomes, as shown by ttest = 3.637 with sig. = 0.001; indicating that a better school environment contributes to improved Civic Education learning outcomes; 4) learning interest, parental support, and school environment, simultaneously on Civic Education learning outcomes; this is supported by an Ftest = 15.822 with sig = 0.000, indicating a positive and significant impact of these factors on Civic Education learning outcomes.
