Optimisation of Niosomes and Formulation Niosomal Gel
The present investigation an attempt is made to develop and characterization niosomal gel formulation of Kaempferol. Niosomes are microscopic lamellar structures obtained on an admixture of non-Ionic surfactant of the alkyl or alkyl polyglycerol ether class and cholesterol (CHO) with subsequent hydration in aqueous media. The disorder of lipid metabolism characterization by higher levels of low-density lipoprotein (HDL) is known as hyperlipidaemia. The result pf the entrapment efficiency shows that is entrapped the 86 ±0.014 drug and quite good for the therapeutic value. The optimize niosomes formulation follow the first order and krosmeyerpeppas kinetic model with the high regression value. The pH of the optimized formulation from was to be in range of 6 to 7 ideally. The short-term stability study was performed at 40±2°C,75±5% RH as per the ICH guidelines. Hence, Kaempferol is selected as a drug candidate for the present study to treat hyperlipidaemia more efficiently.
