Determination of the porosity structure of acid resistants based on non-ferrous metallurgy wastes by method of mercury porometry and diffuse X-ray scattering

Integral and differential porograms of the studied samples obtained by mercury porosimetry showed that the content of safe micropores (10 ‒7 ‒10 ‒8 m) and reserve (10 ‒4 ‒10‒5 m) in samples containing 40 % chamotte (optimal amount) more than in samples not containing fireclay and are respectively 60 and 49 %, but the content of «dangerous» micropores (10 ‒6 ‒10 ‒7 m) in samples containing fireclay is less than in samples not containing fireclay. Studies carried out using the diffuse X-ray magnetic resonance method have shown that in the nature of a microporous structure, an increase in the chamotte content from 20 to 40 % leads to a decrease in the effective radius of micropores and an increase in the uniformity of pore sizes, as evidenced by a decrease in the curvature of the lgI ∞ ‒φ 2
