OPPORTUNITIES AND PROBLEMS IN STUDYING EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN HIGHER EDUCATION

Approaches to the coverage of modern theoretical approaches to the conceptualization and research of the phenomenon of “emotional intelligence” necessary for the successful implementation of basic skills in the formation of effective emotional intelligence in students and graduate students from all specialties of education in higher education were considered. The relevant scientific literature was analyzed and experts were surveyed by Ukrainian enterprises. Information on mixed models of definition and study of emotional intelligence is provided, and some existing methods of diagnosing emotional intelligence are analyzed. The results, which are presented in the form of recommendations for the transformation of teaching theory into a practical plane for the effective use of acquired skills in ethical, safe and modern emotional intelligence by future leaders.
