NEW APPROACHES TO SOLVING IDENTIFICATION PROBLEMS IN THE STUDY OF OIL AND PETROLEUM PRODUCTS
Currently, when solving problems of identification of petroleum and petroleum products, their organic component is usually studied using methods of gas-liquid chromatography, as well as fluorescence and infrared spectroscopy. At the same time, the processes of temporary and biological degradation of petroleum hydrocarbons in the environment are often not taken into account. As an alternative, a new method is proposed in which data on the content of metallic impurities in them, determined using modern instrumental methods of elemental analysis, are used as parameters for the identification of petroleum hydrocarbons. The immutability of the concentration ratios of a number of characteristic metals over time opens up new prospects for the identification of gorenje intensifiers and monitoring of oil pollution, and also allows to identify their culprits up to a specific well.
