Research on Pre-stressed CFRP Plate in the Reinforcement of Composite Box Girder Bridge
Abstract Based on the mechanical behavior of Xiuzhen River bridge before and after pre-stressed CFRP plate reinforcement, the finite element model is established, the stress distribution in composite box beams under over load traffic is analyzed, and the crack distribution is compared. The results show that: Overloading is an important cause of cracks in composite box girders; after using pre-stressed CFRP plate reinforcement, the bearing capacity of the girder and the stress meet the requirements of specifications; the pre-stressed CFRP plate has almost no effect on the stiffness of girder; pre-stressed CFRP plate applied a certain degree of pre-stress to the girder, which effectively constrained the development of cracks.
